Trip It – South Korean tourism has been the target of many tourists over the last few years. This is of course because  their entertainment world  is very global and has many fans, so many people from all over the world want to visit the country of origin of their idols.

The following are a number of famous South Korean tourist attractions that have their own attraction for world tourists:

1. Jeju Island

   

   Jeju Island is one of the South Korean tourist attractions which is located not far from the coast of South Korea. Many thousands of tourists are interested in this island because they want to honeymoon. On this island there is a semi-tropical forest national park with a wild coastline dotted with waterfalls and the world’s longest lava tube. One of the South Korean tourist attractions is also the shooting location for the Korean dramas  Crash Landing on You  and  Our Blues.

2. Homigot Sunrise Square

   

   One of the South Korean tourist attractions is a tourist complex which has a marine aquarium, Marine Ecological Park and various other shops. Here there is a bronze statue which has two parts like a pair of hands. The statue, known as Sangsaeng’s Hand, was built in December 1999.

   This statue is a typical symbol of the sunrise festival. The meaning of this statue gives the message that everyone lives together and helps each other like Sangsaeng which means coexistence in Korean.

3. Namsan Seoul Tower

   

   This South Korean tourist attraction is one of the icons of the city of Seoul which tourists must visit. Basically, Namsan Seoul Tower is an observatory and communications tower at the top of Mount Namsan which is also the geographical center of the city of Seoul.

   An interesting fact is that Namsan Seoul Tower is one of South Korea’s tourist attractions which is often used as a date spot,  you know ! Namsan Seoul Tower can be visited on weekdays from 12.00-22.00 KST and on weekends from 11.00-22.00. 

   Apart from visiting the observation deck, many people put love locks on the surrounding fence by writing their initials or short messages. This tourist spot is even more complete because there are many areas around it selling food, one of which is Sweet Bar which is often known to many tourists.

   Namsan Seoul Tower has an observatory and cable car that visitors can enjoy. If you visit the observatory, you need to pay an entrance ticket of 16,000 won or around IDR 182,000 for adults and 12,000 won or around IDR 136,000 for children. 

   If you want to try the experience of riding a cable car, one way you have to pay a ticket of 11,000 won or IDR 125,000 for adults and 8,000 won or IDR 91,000 for children.

4. Myeongdong Market

   

   Myeongdong Market adalah satu lagi tempat wisata Korea Selatan yang ini jangan sampai dilewatkan. Tempat ini adalah sebuah distrik perbelanjaan utama di Korea Selatan dimana Anda bisa menemukan pusat perbelanjaan, toko hingga restoran dan kafe yang sangat trendi. Di dalamnya termasuk mal yang cukup populer yaitu Lotte Department Store, Lotte Young Plaza dan Noon Square.

   Buat Anda yang suka punya minat tinggi dengan skin care, wajib datang ke area ini untuk menemukan banyak produk kecantikan Korea. Untuk yang punya minat kuliner, tentu ada banyak penjual makanan tradisional Korea yang menjual makanan di area ini; mulai dari tteokbokki, bulgogi, ayam goreng korea, dan lain sebagainya.

   Di daerah ini pula juga terdapat Katedral Katolik Myeongdong yang punya gaya gotik serta Pasar Namdaemun yang sudah berusia 600 tahun.

5. Gyeongbokgung Palace

   

   Untuk Anda yang suka dengan hal berbau budaya, wisata Korea Selatan yang ini wajib untuk ada datangi. Gyeongbokgung Palace ini adalah istana terbesar yang ada di Korea Selatan. Dulunya istana ini menjadi tempat tinggal raja, ratu dan selir pada jamannya.

   Anda bisa mendapatkan pengalaman berkeliling istana sambil melihat keindahan bangunan dan taman yang bersejarah ini sambil menggunakan baju tradisional Korea, Hanbok. Untuk bisa masuk ke Istana Gyeongbokgung, orang dewasa harus membayar sebesar 3.000 won atau setara dengan Rp 34.000 dan anak-anak dikenakan 1.500 won atau setara dengan Rp 17.000.

   Istana Gyeongbokgung memiliki jam buka yang berbeda-beda setiap tiga bulan sekali. Bagi Anda yang tertarik untuk mengunjungi istana ini, berikut ini jam buka yang perlu Anda ketahui:

   • November-Februari: 09.00 – 17.00 KST
   • Maret-Mei: 09.00 – 18.00 KST
   • Juni-Agustus: 09.00 – 18.30 KST
   • September-Oktober: 09.00 – 18.00 KST.

6. Cheonggyecheon River

   

   Tempat wisata Korea Selatan selanjutnya kita beralih pada sungai Cheonggyecheon. Tempat ini sering dipakai warga lokal untuk sekedar duduk santai di pinggirannya. Selain menjadi kebanggan kota Seoul, area wisata Korea Selatan ini juga dipakai menjadi tempat syuting drama Korea. Selain itu banyak lokasi foto menarik yang bisa dijadikan tempat dokumentasi Anda selama liburan di sana.

7. Gangnam District

   

   Tentu Anda mengenali nama ini dari lagu terkenal yang bertajuk Gangnam Style. Tempat wisata Korea Selatan ini termasuk kawasan elit dimana Anda bisa menemukan banyak butik dari merek pakaian terkenal, club, restoran hingga mal. Buat Anda penggemar dunia entertainment Korea bisa juga menemukan K-Star Road yang merupakan kantor agensi artis Korea yang berada di area ini.

   Uniknya tidak hanya berciri khas modern, tapi di Gangnam District ini Anda tetap bisa menemukan hal-hal berbau budaya dan tradisi Korea seperti Horim Art Center dan Coreana Art & Culture Complex.

8. Lotte World

   

   This South Korean tourist attraction offers many facilities ranging from hotels, malls, cinemas, museums to  ice skating rinks . This tourist spot is very suitable for all ages to visit because there are many rides that can be done by children and adults. The unique fact is that Lotte World was once the filming location  for Full House ,  Stairway to Heaven  and  the variety show Running Man . Has anyone watched it before?

   This tourist spot is very suitable for all ages to visit because there are many rides that can be done by children and adults, from kart riders, bomb cars, 4D shooting theaters, to haunted houses.

   You can enjoy all the rides at Lotte World by paying 56,000 won or the equivalent of IDR 635,000 for adults, 50,000 won for teenagers or the equivalent of IDR 566,000, 46,000 won or the equivalent of IDR 521,000, and 15,000 won or the equivalent of IDR 170,000 .

9. Hongdae

   

   Hongdae is an area close to Hongik University so it is famous among young South Koreans. This South Korean tourist spot offers many places ranging from  clubs , karaoke,  arcades  and lots of  street food . For those of you who like  Kpop music , you will definitely enjoy coming to this area because there are many  street performers  who sing songs from Korean bands that are famous worldwide.

10. Thorn Mural Village

    

    This South Korean tourist area is suitable for those of you who like taking photos. Here you can find many beautiful mural paintings that attract many local and international tourists to take photos and spend time in this area.
