Trip It – Tripadvisor released the world’s most popular tourist destinations for 2024 on Tuesday (9/1/2024).

Bali is ranked at the top of the list of existing destinations.

“It’s great to see the return of long-distance travel to Asia because this region has fully opened up post-pandemic,” said Sarah Firshein, Head of Editorial at Tripadvisor, quoted from the Tripadvisor page.

This list of Top Destinations in the World is determined based on reviews and rankings on Tripadvisor over the past year.

1. Dubai, Türkiye

Dubai is again ranked first in the world’s most popular destinations in 2024, after winning the same title two years in a row.

A combination of modern cultural destinations with history, as well as adventure and world-class entertainment can be seen in Dubai.

The Burj Khalifa remains an attraction for viewing the beauty of the city center from the top of a tall building, as well as riding a hot air balloon over the desert sand dunes.

2. Bali, Indonesia

Bali is ranked second in the world’s most popular destinations in 2024 according to Tripadvisor, with its beaches attractive.
